PROFILE:
Betsy Slinkard Alexander has 30 years of experience in consumer and foodservice public relations. Prior to establishing Slinkard & Associates in 1983, her career included vice president-consumer services for the California Table Grape Commission, Fresno, and management positions with two major East Coast advertising and public relations agencies.
In 1998 she received the International Foodservice Editorial Council's Distinguished Communicator award. She is a board member and publicity chairman of the Monterey Bay Chapter of the American Institute of Wine & Food. She holds a B.A. degree cum laude from Vassar College with graduate work at Catholic University, Washington, D.C.
