Betsy Slinkard Alexander is a skilled freelance writer and public relations consultant. Since 2003 her clients have included Shea Campbell & Associates, agency for the California Wild Rice Advisory Board, and The Culinary Center of Monterey. She has written a food column for the Pacific Grove Hometown Bulletin and contributed articles to Produce Business magazine, Deli Business magazine andPizza Marketing Quarterly. She currently writes a food column for Cedar Street Times.
In 1983 she established Slinkard & Associates, a network of independently employed freelance consultants providing brand-building public relations services to food, beverage and consumer product manufacturers and commodity boards. During these years she wrote a wide variety of marketing communications materials including corporate and product brochures, fact sheets, news releases, articles, marketing strategies and newsletters.
